Originally by: Jed Clampett ISK loss is irrelevant only if you are not playing on PLEX. While no one is losing ground compared to other EVE players, the clock does continue to tick on PLEX renewal accounts. And years ago CCP did credit time to everyone with the result hat this did not hurt PLEX players. Of course CCP eventually realized that downtime is also a cash earning time if they did not credit time back...plus of course EVE players tend to be very loyal once hooked.
Lol. I suppose you believe space aliens run the governments? They credited back time cause the server was down for days, not just a few measly hours.

I feel you there. Patch day is always on my day off. But luckily we have this thread to laugh at. And if that fails I hear there is this place known as the "outside." Where people play with these disk-like objects called "Frisbees" and other weird stuff.

It's not CCP's fault that you bought a computer where you can't upgrade your graphics card.
Actually, desktop Macs aren't hard to upgrade. It just voids your warranty if you mail it in and pay some 3rd-world kid to do it.

I have done the direct one, i dont get a auto patcher option when i load my eve client up.
You need slightly over double the size of the download in free space as it has to unpack and then install. Even though it will only increase the game size a few mb I bet its still calculating as if it needs it all.

Your filesystem might be reporting incorrect free space or a write error may be interpreted by the installer as a lack of drive space. Use the "Disk check" tool on the drive you are installing EVE on.
There's also a small possibility that you're using another volume mounted as a folder. Properties on the volume that is hosting the other volume won't report the usage of the folder-mounted volume.
Im not a computer boffin, so im not sure what you meant, i have 2 HDs, 1 is my A: drive, and my OS is on my C: drive, ( there is no room for anymore data on this drive ), Eve is on my A: drive, which has 2.5 TB of space left.
So i dont see why it is saying no DISKSPACE.....
You designated a harddrive as A:? That alone is a bundle of issues waiting to happen. Which drive is your OS's temp folder on? |

They are too busy reading this. Epic paradox.

Originally by: Taiba Marag Another complaint for you bunch a CCP...Do us ALL a favour....take a full day for upgrading....no rushing, take your time, make sure EVERYTHING is working....and give us back the time INGAME!!! You are stealing our money with these continued extended DT's. I understand that occassional outages may not be you fault, but deliberately extending DT to fix unexpected issues continually is plain WRONG! If a problem can't be fixed in the time you give us, ROLL BACK and try again during next DT.
Stop stealing my hard earned cash by shafting me...and everyone else of their game time!
I think were up to $0.06 US of hard earned cash lost. I'm gonna be broke...
